Meet Molly

Hello! I'm Molly Jones.

If you're here, my story likely sounds familiar: former perfectionist turned burnt-out mom. Diagnoses flying at me left and right, well into adulthood. A complete set of baggage (matching, of course) showing up at my doorstep, waiting to be unpacked.

I know what it's like when life feels like a catch-22:
Your family is relying on you to keep everything afloat — and you'd do anything for them — but they also need you to be your best self. Meanwhile your time and energy seem to dwindle by the day.

After a few periods of intense burnout and about 982,357 hours of therapy, I've started to budge my deeply stubborn perspective when it comes to self-care and caring for others. It's important work. But it's not easy! And it takes time.

I believe that sometimes, in the thick of it, we need people to help by literally doing things for us. To understand us, and the complexities of our lives, and take things off our plate. Someone to burn the midnight oil for us so we can get some sleep. I want you to get sleep!

And that, folks, is why I'm here. Thanks for being here, too. 🤍

A bit more about me:

I've worked in content for over a dozen years as a writer, editor, and UX content designer. I like to think that means I'm good at taking tangled-up heaps of information, making sense of it, and sharing it in a way that works for people.

I'd describe myself as simultaneously serious and silly, bitter and hopeful, analytical and creative. My greatest strength is being thoughtful and my biggest weakness is overthinking. I like picture books, greeting cards, anything retro, norsk språk og kultur, and dreaming about peace. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my partner and kiddo.
